Join us in the craftroom, where we will learn about the American artist Tyree Guyton and his innovative efforts to improve his community of East Detroit, Michigan. Tyree's vision to beautify his neighborhood became The Heidelberg Project where he inspires people to appreciate and use artistic expression to improve the community. We will turn everyday objects that are thrown away as "trash" and turn them into art! Bring a friend to this super creative and fun workshop where we will create a street scene using paint, glue and upcycled materials that many people toss into the trash or recycling bin.
