Blackout Poetry Workshop

Have you ever wanted to write poetry, but could not find the right words? Mount Laurel Library is hosting two Blackout Poetry Workshops this summer. Blackout poetry, also known as erasure poetry or redacted poetry, is a form of found poetry whereby participants create a poem by blacking out words from a page in a book to create a new work. Unleash your creativity in a fun, creative, and supportive environment. For those who wish to, there will be an opportunity to share your poems. All supplies provided. No registration required. 

(This class is also offered on Thursday, July 11, 2 pm. Attend one or both classes.)

*Workshop participants will receive an extra raffle entry towards the Adult Summer Reading grand prizes.
