The third teaming of couple Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall is an experimental film noir based on a novel by Philly’s own David Goodis. Bogey plays a recent San Quentin Penitentiary escapee who has plastic surgery so he can shield himself from the cops. While on the lam, he’s trying to find the real culprit behind his wife’s murder.
