Event Details
In honor of the recent publication of his complete poems, we’ll read and discuss some of the best works by the late, great Irish poet. As New York Times critic Francis X. Cline said, “Poetry is Heaney's labor and joy. In 20 years of attempting it, he has taken his humble bog side origins and turned them to words of original beauty.” A packet containing a selection of the poems will be sent out by email before our meeting. Program presented by Paul Howe. Registration is required. You will receive the Zoom link before the event.
