Join us for a fun, relaxed, and hands-on introduction to the exciting game of MahJongg! This class is specifically designed for people with little or no experience. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn or just need a refresher, this session will give you the foundational skills needed to play with confidence. 
 
What You Will Learn:

Tile Identification: Learn the difference between suits (Bams, Dots, Craks), Winds, Dragons, Flowers, and the coveted Jokers.The NMJL Card: How to read and interpret the National MahJongg League card, which changes annually, to understand valid hands.

What to Bring: 

A Current NMJL Card: Participants should bring the current year's card from the National Mahjongg League. https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/store

Enthusiasm: No prior experience is necessary. 

This is a series of lessons, please plan to attend all of the sessions. Registration with a library card is required.
